  • Added support for Discord invitations.

v1.1.1:

  • Fixed an error in v1.1.0 that causes random -17s limbs to show up.
  • Added support for load times.

v1.1.0:

  • New (or you can say old) feature to generate the timeline image for the hunt.
  • Support for sharing connection links instead of codes, and custom URI support for YATE.
  • Added settings to choose the format of the watershield of the live feedback.
  • Another potenial fix for random large negative delays.

v1.0.10:

  • Fixed a crash introduced in v1.0.9.

v1.0.9:

  • Fixed bugs in parsing squad member names.

v1.0.8:

  • Bug fix where disabling Discord Activity Feature disables VS client connections too.

v1.0.7:

  • Potenial fix for the random large negative limbs caused by trimmed logs.
  • Support for Discord activity streaming at VS clients.
  • Cleaner version for the hunt image generation.

v1.0.6:

  • Fixed large spawn delay when the shard is counted after the eidolon spawn. You may now get negative spawn delay..not a bug.

v1.0.5:

  • You can now let YATE conveniently stream your current hunting window at Discord's game activity (thanks to Speenah for the suggestion). Also supported on VS clients starting from v1.0.7.
  • Support for YATE on VS clients through Discord integration (still requires the host to run YATE) through sharing a Lobby ID generated by the host's instance. It is recommended to have a Discord instance running before starting YATE.
  • Added limb breaks to offline analysis.
  • Added support for automatic software updates.
  • Added feature to export night summary as a PNG image.
  • UI and logo updates.
  • Miscellaneous bug fixes.

v0.5.1:

  • YATE now shows the limb breaks over the current Eidolon (not just the last broken limb). There is an option in the settings to turn it off if you don't like it. There is also an option to only show this summary after the last limb.
  • Added a small lock button to the overlay window; when you click it, it will lock the overlay window in the current position and ignore any interactions with YATE, this way, it will not interfere with your hunt even if you hover over it accidentally. Since it might be harder to close the window now as it ignores any interactions, you can just click YATE's icon in the taskbar to maximize the window, and it will automatically close the overlay window. You will find an option to turn this feature off too.
  • The offline analysis now shows the average for the night.
  • Added Streamer Mode to solve problems with streaming on Discord or OBS.
  • Fixed many causes of the crashes, especially the ones related to running YATE across multiple nights (it is still recommended to restart the game before each hunt).
  • Few UI enhancements.

FAQ

YATE's watershield definition is a bit different from idalon; the watershield displayed does not include the spawn delay in the calculation, which means it is the exact time from the eidolon spawn to the limb break. idalon adds the spawn delay to the watershield time. So what you will see is in the format x (+y = z) where x is the watershield as it is defined within the tool, y is the spawn delay, z is the watershield by the definition of idalon..

Starting from v0.5.0, there is a lock button next to the overlay window that locks the window in place and prevents any further interaction till closed.

Host's logs are the only usable logs, however starting from YATE 1.0.0 you can connect to the host's YATE and see the updates directly on your client.

YATE is based on the game's log, so it depends on how fast the game updates the logs.

YATE only parses the EE.log file, so it shouldn't violate Terms of Service, but use at your own risk.

There is an option called Streamer Mode that help solve these types of issues.

You can reset the window position from the Settings window.

Anti-viruses work in various ways; YATE's source code is publicly available and there is not any sort of security risk when using the tool.

Unfortunately, there is no way to do that, fullscreen means that the operating system allocates the display and most of the computational resources to the game, so nothing can be on top of it, so you have to use Borderless Fullscreen to see the YATE overlay.

There are several reasons that can cause that, some solutions to try:

  • Double check that a Discord instance is running before starting YATE.
  • Sometimes the firewall hinders the communication between YATE and Discord, this can be solved by adding an exception rule for YATE in the firewall.
  • If you run Discord/Warframe as admin, then you need to run YATE as admin too, otherwise YATE cannot access Discord/Warframe logs.
  • You may try going to Discord Settings > Privacy & Safety > Choose “Do not scan”, or “My friends are nice” if your squad is on your Discord firend list.
  • If none of these solutions work, DM me on Discord to run the debugging version and trace the issue.

Sometimes there is a small misalignment between YATE's capshot calculation and idalon's, probably due to a rounding error in one of the tools or a minor difference in the calculation method, but shouldn't be a huge difference.

This is not a bug, the spawn delay is the time from the last shard insertion till the eidolon spawn. However, sometimes the shard insertion is registered in the log AFTER the spawn, which results in a negative spawn delay.
